  1. VS Symbol & Duel Reels

    A VS symbol expands its reel into a duel — the winning gladiator's x2-x100 multiplier applies through that reel, and when several Duel Reels join one win, their multipliers are added together first.

  2. Champions of the Arena

    Three Arena scatters start 3 spins that reset on every VS symbol. Each reel keeps a persistent multiplier (it can grow to x1,000) — but a new duel's result replaces the reel's current value, up or down. Coins multiply one reel x2-x10, Epic Coins multiply them all.

  3. Unleash the Beast

    Three Beast scatters start the premium round: on reels 1, 2, 4 and 5 duel multipliers only ever add, while reel 3 stays locked until VS symbols have landed on all four — then the freed Beast applies x2-x20 on top of everything.

We'll be straight: this is the one Hacksaw slot we actively argue about. The maths are fine — 96.31%, and the 400x buy is on paper the best-RTP way in — but the design has a streak of cruelty that either thrills you or ruins the game. In Champions of the Arena a reel can carry a x100 multiplier and lose it the moment another VS symbol lands there and resolves small — it's one of the very rare slots where you catch yourself begging for a dead spin to end the round while the profit is still on the table. And the 400x Unleash the Beast buy punishes grinders: in our own demo run the very first buy struck 2,005x, an objectively huge hit that is still only five buys of value — and the next buy came back at 110x, right back to the pattern of small returns. Watch the duels in demo, enjoy the spectacle, maybe poke the 10x and 40x VS buys for entertainment. Grinding the 400x is how this arena eats a balance.
