Every so often a studio ships a game that is really an argument, and Max Win Machine is Hacksaw arguing that most of what surrounds modern slot maths is decoration. Strip out the cascades, the wilds, the multiplier trails and the three-tier bonus menus, and what remains is a price, a probability and a prize. As a piece of design honesty it is admirable: the four cores publish their max-win odds openly, and the arithmetic holds up - the 10,000x on its own returns about 95% of each core's cost, the 1x and 10x hits fill in the rest. As something to actually sit and play, it is thin. There is no round to build, no state to carry, no moment where a spin becomes more interesting than the one before it; you are buying tickets and finding out. As entertainment it is thin; the maths deserves better. Treat it as a stunt you try in demo, or as a deliberately-chosen high-odds ticket if that is genuinely the game you want - and never as a session slot, because on 5/5 volatility with a 7.5% hit rate, a session is exactly what it cannot give you.
