Pirots has spent four games perfecting a loop where nothing ever pushes back — the birds collect, the grid grows, the features stack. Pirots 5 is the entry where the temple pushes back, and it's better for it. Blackfeather is the smartest thing ELK has added to the series: suddenly the order you move your birds and where they stop matters, because a cursed bird hands its whole counter to the villain. The traps keep the base game visually alive through the patient stretches — and at a 25.1% hit frequency with 7/10 volatility, there will be patient stretches. Our reservations are practical: the rulebook is genuinely heavy, and the 96% default RTP ships alongside operator cuts all the way down to 87%. Series veterans should jump straight in; everyone else should run the demo until the bird logic clicks. Either way, this is the most alive a Pirots grid has ever felt.
