Toshi Video Club is what happens when Hacksaw slows down and polishes: one mechanic, executed with total confidence, wrapped in the studio's best art direction to date. The green daruma is the whole plot — a x5 landing late in the bonus, on a multiplier the additive dolls spent eight spins building, is one of slots' great third-act twists. Four years on, the 10,000x cap and the single unbuyable-super format read as restraint rather than lack. A tape worth rewinding.
