Nearly a decade on, Viking Runecraft still feels like a statement game — the moment Play'n GO decided a slot could have progression, a pantheon of intervening gods and a disaster system without collapsing under its own weight. Ragnarök at a full x15 remains one of the great 2017 slot moments.
